The Bass River Recreation Area is located near Grand Haven, Michigan near the Grand River and features a 3.9-mile multi-use trail.
The trail winds through deep forested land and consists of open meadows, open brush land, mature hardwoods, small ponds and 300-acre Max Lake. It is best used from April until October, but it is open for cross-country skiing in the winter.
