Acorn Lodge & Trails

Acorn Lodge is a beautiful house situated within 25 acres of woods with 1.5 miles of walking trails, perfect for family reunions, nature lovers, and bird watching groups.

A five minute walk from the lodge leads to our private riverfront and Riverside Cabin. The lodge is popular for forest bathing, nature lovers, bird watching groups, church retreats, crafters and study groups. Acorn Lodge has been awarded 5-Star status by Airbnb, Vrbo, Expedia, Bookings, and Retreats & Venues Magazine. Along the trails you'll find a Tree House, which is excellent for wildlife viewing, the Indian Mound (authentic), plenty of benches and chairs, and wildlife galore. We have deer and turkey herds that are often seen from the breakfast nook in the kitchen, eagles, all kind of water birds including ducks, kingfishers, bitterns, blue herons, and sandhill cranes. A campfire circle is situated in the back yard. There's a grill on the deck and an enclosed bed swing, a favorite with our guests. Acorn Lodge is an all-seasons gathering place with plenty to do indoors and out.
